Hi, I’m Ash - a writer-producer-director living in L.A.

As a detail-oriented writer, I have 12+ years of experience developing articles, profiles and marketing copy. I’ve produced articles and profiles for Ebony, Carefree Magazine, CRWN, Blavity-owned platforms, Sequoia Capital, Medium, Teen Vogue, the International Code Council and more.

I first gained experience working as a producer at Vox Media where I co-produced HBO Max’s “The Beauty of Blackness”, winner of the Tribeca X Gold Award for Video Documentary. Within months, I accepted the opportunity to direct the Okta’s 2021 State of Inclusion and the 2023 Zoomtopia x Referral Staffing Solutions mini documentaries.

While my skillset also includes coordinating logistics, calendar management and cross-functional communication, my current career goal is to land a role as a producer, coordinator or assistant with a motion picture company. I am open to writer roles and other content-related roles.
