HI, I’M ASH — A Proactive Producer + DECADE-Long writer.

My goal is to land a role as a producer, coordinator or assistant with a motion picture company.

While working as a producer at Vox Media, I co-produced HBO Max’s “The Beauty of Blackness”, winner of the Tribeca X Gold Award for Video Documentary. I directed Okta’s 2021 State of Inclusion and the 2023 Zoomtopia x Referral Staffing Solutions mini documentary.

I also developed stories while working as a Communications Coordinator at the Center for Elders’ Independence. There, I managed their social media accounts, print production of pamphlets/booklets as well as communications between the director and the production team.

As a detail-oriented writer, I have 10+ years of experience developing articles, profiles, biographies and website copy. I’ve produced articles for Blavity-owned platforms, Ebony, Carefree Magazine, CRWN, Medium, Teen Vogue and more. My skills also include coordinating logistics, calendar management and cross-functional communication.
